How to interview an author
How to give author interviews from where you are or from London, England or somewhere else in the world can be a task but there are a few tips on hand that are excellent to use for your interviews.
Many bloggers that start giving author interviews have issues with what requests to ask the author. Several will ask the expected queries but barely ask inspiring requests, questions that would want to inspire a reader want to read more, that is what an interview is supposed to do; inspire, engage, and enlighten the readers. What will an interviewer do to inspire readers and engage their readers in an entertaining fashion? Herein lays the quandary that I will aim to address.
Authors enjoy the opportunity of being interviewed, I have to start the article off with that, but an author does not enjoy boring inquiries. You, as a interviewer already know that the author wants to talk about their latest project. That in its self should be part of your introductions. Have you ever watched an old Johnny Carson interviewing someone and Jack Paar for that matter? There was a couple of very good interviewers that engaged the interviewee as well as their audience. That is the way to have an interview.

Consider the author first. Look into one of the stories or e books that they have written, and then pose questions about it. Not requests just about their books but about them, dig deep pull something out of them that is entertaining out, something funny, something inspiring moreover. Something that will make your readers laugh and be completely engaged in your interviews. That is what will bring your readers back to read your next interview and it is what will make the interviewee want more to do with you.
Below is a series of questions that I was asked once through an interview. I thought these were good questions so I am sharing them with you. But one thing I will suggest is to ask questions during a live chat that way you can dig deeper and fully engage all concerned. Save the Q & A and post that to your blog! Now you have something. Plus you can post it with a link back to your site at Book-Spot.com under author interviews.

How to interview an author
How to hold author interviews from where they are or from Rome, Italy or somewhere else in the world can be difficult but there are a few tips available that are good to use for your interviews.
Most bloggers that start author interviews have difficulty with what questions to ask the author. Some will ask the basic requests but hardly ask intriguing inquiries, queries that would want to make a reader read further, that's what an interview is understood to do; inspire, engage, and enlighten the readers. What will an interviewer do to enlighten readers and engage their readers in an engaging style? This is the dilemma that I will address.
Authors love the opportunity of being interviewed, I have to start off with that, but an author doesn't enjoy boring requests. You, as a interviewer already know that the author wishes to talk about their latest book. That in its self should be part of your introductions. Did you ever watch Johnny Carson interviewing someone or Dick Cavett for that matter? There was a few truly great interviewers that engaged the interviewee as well as their audiences. That's the way to hold an interview.
